**APOLOGIES FOR CROSS POSTINGS. PLEASE TAKE THE SURVEY ONLY ONCE.**

Dear Colleagues,

We’re pleased to request your participation in a survey of writing
instructors at for-profit colleges and universities. This survey includes
questions about how writing is taught and by whom in for-profit colleges
and universities. You are being contacted because you have been identified
as a writing instructor or Writing Program Administrator. Because you have
direct classroom experience, your help on this survey is essential.

This survey will only be available for a few days, so please fill out our
brief questionnaire by clicking on the link below (it will open a new
browser window on your computer) or pasting the link into your browser:

Thank you for your participation. Please forward this invitation to
colleagues you may know who have taught writing at a for-profit college or
university. Each response helps us learn more.

Sincerely,

Patricia Harkin, PhD
