THEME: Students' Stories: Local Conditions, Global Concerns
For our next issue, BWe seeks classroom narratives from students enrolled in basic writing courses and the faculty who teach them. What stories do students tell in their essays for our basic writing courses? What stories do we tell about our students enrolled in basic writing? What do these stories reveal about practices and theories of basic
writing in 2007-and about the intersections of local and global concerns? Multimodal/multimedia and traditionally-formatted submissions welcome. Suggested submission length: 8-15 pages.
DEADLINE: May 15, 2007
SUBMISSIONS, QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS: Susan Naomi Bernstein
(Susan.Bernstein@uc.edu ) and Kathleen Baca (kbaca@nmsu.edu ). Please use "BWe Submission" as your subject line.
